My East Coast Trip, or how 8th graders are hilarious

Hi Betsey, welcome back! Sounds like your trip was fun, frustrating, . . . enlightening? No really, is that Nathan kid for real? What a hoot. I bet you guys were laughing the whole way home. He sounds kinda weird, but I have to say he is right about UCLA football!
Welcome Home, what a fun trip. I love the east coast. Even with all of the craziness it sounds like a good time. But always a better time to be home with the hb.
What an interesting trip! I love to hear about all the great places you've eaten at...I can't wait to visit the east coast one of these days! And I think that if (fill in career choice) doesn't work for you, you should become a teacher because getting an 8th grader to speak to you is Not as easy as you think!
[this is good]
Your trip sounds like it would make a great Seinfeld episode. I came home from France with a bunch of 8th graders. They were hilarious. The whole way home they talked about how they could hardly wait to eat some good American food (they'd been gone a week). They just wanted some real hamburgers and mashed potatos. They were so loud and so crazy, and I remember hoping that French people would think I was French and not with the noisy American kids.
Welcome home! I love hearing about all your adventures. I've never been to the east coast, but it sounds fabulous, minus the snow/slush drifts and cranky cab drivers! While I loved all the trip details, I think my favorite part was the lessons from Buddy. I am so glad I never have to go back to 8th grade again!!
